  • Occasionally assess and educate patients and family members in home environments, including providing nursing care.
  • Appropriately documents patient care activity, coordination of home infusion nursing services provided and all communication with patients, physician and referral source.
    • Documentation is legible, accurate, complete, and complies with company policy and procedure for electronic and paper patient clinical record entries.
  • Communicate/coordinate discharge planning ACTIVITIES for new patient referrals with branch personnel (admissions, clinical, operations, reimbursement, and referral sources).
  • Assure timely communication with other company personnel, and outside providers, especially case managers and other agencies, to assure the quality and continuity of patient care.
  • May be asked to participate in cross training of the various clinical functions in order to function in multiple roles as required

1.      Track and evaluate governmental (FDA, DEA, etc) and State Board of Pharmacy regulations and their impact relative to the current and future business.

 

2.      Oversee the company’s global regulatory and quality strategies and policy development.

4.      Develops and implements comprehensive regulatory strategies for the company’s existing and newly created businesses.
